Just back from Germany - a friend moved there last year and had to remove the rim tape from his Fazer as its not allowed in the German version of the MOT - I reckon they did him a favour!

Rim Tape??? Depends on the bike and colour to be honest, some bikes it suits and some colours it suits. Can be regarded as Chavvy if done wrong, personal taste though so if you like it who elses opinion matters?

I have rim tape. I aint chavvy. I dont think it looks chavvy.
 My opinion is i dont think any bike is chavvy. Chav's drive Nova's, Wear burberry basball caps and drink 3 litre bottles of white lightning. If you think your bike looks good thats all that matters. Plus is not realy about what your bike looks like its how you ride it that counts. |

Dangerous Dave is right, thread closed
 It does quite often look bad on SVs though to be fair (and mint on CBRs... Helped along by the fact that lots of honda race schemes have it)
