In the last few months, I've gone to the hospital with my sister as she was diagnosed with epilepsy, attended my grandfather's funeral services, spent 36 hours at the hospital again for my wife's "cerebral-vascular stent" operation, lost feeling in my throttle-hand due to a pinched nerve, and just last Sunday, accidentally inhaled some of my grandmother as I was scattering her ashes in front of 6 of her 7 children.
![]() But... As much as life can suck at times, it's still much better than the alternative, in my opinion! Life throws some very <insert extreme adjective here> situations at you... Just be thankful that the "corn" was at least properly diagnosed. All the best thoughts and wishes out to you and your mom! I hope everything turns out for the best! |

Going through the "in the family" bit at present myself. My wife has had to have a mastectomy, chemo, radio therapy.
However, they gave her a bone scan. noticed something in her right femur. MRI scan. definitely something there. So she is seeing a orthopaedic surgeon in 2 weeks time. Life is bitch at times

Lily, lone wolf and Tim, wish there was something I could say that would make the slightest difference, unfortunately I cant, been through tough times myself and know how important it is to have mates around you, all the best to all concerned.

Damn, thats really harsh, cancer is an awefull thing.
Is there any results on how far "progressed" the cancer is? Modern medicine has some clever tricks on how to deal with cancerous cells, so have some faith in it. Chin up lily, figneres crossed for your mum Matt |
