I need help - Bike wont idle.

Air filter looks ok but as a precaution i have purchased a nice new one of ebay which i should have on monday.

I will check the plugs to see if either is running rick i presume this will at least tell me which carb needs working on if any.

I will check the airbox breathers tomorrow and report back.

Do the carbs have to be removed to check the plungers? (Sorry i appear to have a fobia about removing the carbs!)

Yes really, it's possible without I suppose but front one is a right rse to get to!

Its much easier if you take the carbs off and its not hard to do so. Otherwise to get at the front plunger screw involves a huge amount of faffing about.

Another bit of information that i completely forgot about.

When going over large bumps or say the crest of a hill the bike drops in power then gives a mighty back fire. I think this could be related any ideas?
