Yeah true, fair comment and thanks for confirmation dave
Can't wait to try fitting it now. Hope I can reduce that ding but will see, should sound better which is the main aim.
was gonna get a slip on maybe at the bike show but noticed this for £50, which i thought was pretty good, assuming I can swap the end can then it should be quite a saving, I don't care about the can being beat up for now though, especially for the price. most people won't see it anyway as they are being overtaken hehe

It just dawned on me, will I need to get it remapped with the new system?
if so how much is that likely to cost and does anyone have any suggestions in the north west?
would it be ok to run it without for a few weeks without doing it if needs be, or would it do damage?

I dare say it'll be perfectly fine running it without any modifications.

I'm pretty sure the bike I had with full akra system on it was standard fuelling and I done 5000 miles on it. Depends how long you want to keep it I guess. I managed to squeeze 75mpg out of mine so I guess it might have been running a bit lean. I'm sure it'll survive for a few weeks.

A remap doesn't cost much, and it is far cheaper than a OTT PCIII too.

Ride the bike first, as said it may not need a remap but it would help clean up the power.
