Nah not really ... that's been nearly 18 months on road and nearly 20k miles.

Renthal make loads of different types of handlebars... I have ultra-low ones on mine. Low ones work well too I understand - in hindsight I'd give them a go on the 650.

They're a lot wider than stock, you can easily cut an inch of each end.

I found it easier to cut off the plastic locator tabs on the switchgear...

No you don't, you just do away with the locating tabs like just about every bike was until recently. A layer of tape under the switchgear stops it rotating and allows adjustment to suit the bars being moved in future.

I really can't see why people drill bars when all they need to do is remove the locating tab. They never get the bars in the right postion first time anyway, so the holes they drill are never in the right place

Well I drilled mine properly and they were bang on , measure twice cut once is the Moral here . I didn`t want to remove locating tabs etc as when the bike is sold the clipons will be going back on and the bike will be totally standard then with no missing bits .
