Bike is the only form of transport I have since I don't hold a car licence... There's nothing you can do except get back on and ride.

Happened to me almost exactly the same on my old 250. Crappy isnt it!

mine too, good on you, people say the longer your off the harder it is to get back on. Took me four days and hell was it wobbly, confidence ego out of the window still.

Yeah it is a confidence thing... My driving instructor is on L plates and we went out for a ride and he nearly lost the front on a roundabout and his confidence in corners is completely shattered. Which is understandable.

I crashed 3 times in about 15 minutes the other week doing a moped enduro race. After the third crash I wasn't too keen to get back on, but the next day went out with renewed confidence.

It's not easy getting on after a crash, but if we never rode a bike after how many of us would there be on the roads?

Bugger, hope you're ok, some of the roads round here are covered in diesel, leaves and other sh*te at the mo too, it's like a skating rink on my route to the motorway!

Just to let you know (guessed you'd read here) I found what the starting issue was that I had before the rideout... the negative terminal on the battery had come lose

So its not the dodgy italian electrics... Aprilia's arnt bad
