Ride your bike as long as you feel physically comfortable doing it. Why stop now? Are you stopping doing anything else that might be considered remotely risky?

I don't believe that pregnancy = wrap up in cotton wool.

Agree with Ed here. When I was pregnant I was still pillioning until I was 6 months.

Congratulations!
Remember though, the little life inside is very fragile. However careful you may be, a spill could still happen. A small knock in the wrong place could be very dangerous. If it were me (apart from getting a lot of attention!!) I'd stop riding as I'd place the care of the bump over getting a ride in.
Only my opinion though. Will you find out if it's a boy or girl? Or wait for the surprise?

My other half decided it'd be a good idea to climb up onto the kitchen units & do some cleaning whilst pregnant with our youngest. She wasn't wearing anything on her feet, only socks - and yes, she fell. No harm whatsoever (that we're aware of), and that was 4 years ago!

I must point out though, that as soon as I knew what had happened she was under house arrest & pretty much pinned in place until the ambulance arrived!

Saralou, it's your life, do as you want. Your maternal instinct will stop you doing something too dangerous.

Never think of it as a last ride.

Little dirtydog is due on hte 22nd dec and the only reason kitkat didn't carry on riding was the bikes MOT ran out and by the time that was sorted she couldn't fit in her leathers

As said earlier it's up to you.

Interesting that some men on here are telling you not to and laying on the 'what if?' guilt factor. The moral question is no different to either riding with or being a pillion. Physically, it's probably easier. It's entirely up to you.

Way hey..... Babies - cool. Congrats & all that

A lady that I went out with, her daughter has a CBR600rr & was riding it until she was about 5 months gone. At the end of the day, do what you think is right. As someone else said earlier, you wont stop driving because you are pregnant.

Good luck & Hope all goes well

as DD said there were reasons I didnt ride while pregnant. If you feel comfortable doing it then go for it. No reason why you shouldnt. You will still do housework, shopping, work, drive a car, cross the road so why not ride a bike. Mrs Grinch rode til she was 6 months I think. Just watch out for your balance as it goes a bit squiffy.

best of luck with pregnancy.
