do you literally just unscrew via the bot on the end of the rod and not the ball joint?

once you've got the footpeg asembly off you should be able to just unscrew the rod from the ball joint at the lever end

ahh yes got it off now cheers guys, any idea what i can put round the new bolt as i couldnt find the remains so the old peg??

You can run it with just the bolt but if you've got some o rings put them on it

Don't muck about with crappy bolts and bodging o-rings on, do it properly with one of these. They hardly cost the earth and work very well. My SK5 has had one as a brake lever toe-peg for the past 11 months wioth no problems.

I filed the scabby broken bit of the end of the lever smooth and fitted the new toepeg after painting the lever with silver Smoothrite... simple

A bit of fuel pipe works well to slide over the end.

so i would still need to drill through and put a bolt through for the replacement pegs Lozzo?? in that case its no harm drilling through and using a bolt untill it comes through the post!!

its aluminium so its very easy and quick to drill.
