Of course if you have an older oximiser then that lead won't fit. At some point they changed the connector. I have yet to find a supply of the old type. I foolishly left my original one on an NC 30 when I sold it.
If any one has an older type connector tht they don't want then I would gladly take it off their hands.

I have an adaptor that came with the Maximiser to convert it if you want if its the right one.

It not weather proof just 2 diff ends to convert to new style waterproof connector.

There are only two options, the one which fits the earlier and the one which fits the later Optimate. Do a search on Google for Optimate accessories, they are a few on line shops still selling them.

Just a question on battery chargers.. are there any out there that doint need a direct access to mains supply whilst charging (A battery powered battery charger so to speak) I live in flats and my garage doesnt have a mains supply

Using a mains supply actually means rolling the bike up to a communal door and using an exension lead from a communal supply (automatically peeing off the neighbours as the cost is shared)

I suppose I could roll the bike across the grass and charge from an extension dangling out the window :P

Any help would be appreciated

Rob

I have an Optimate 111 and it came with an extension connection with crocodile clips so you could connect to a battery with it that way.

Thanks for that. shame their website bombed out when I tried to order. Hopefully I shall be able to order via phone.
Oh and thanks for all the other offers, it's much appreciated.
