You have not adjusted the clutch. All you have done is take the slack out of the cable. Have you done a search for Sid Squids Clutch adjustment thread?

right so i've having a fiddle and here what i have, sorry if this is hard to understand but i dont know technical terms and not good at explaining things

right so basically i've done what sid said to do and nothign has changed, but what i have noticed is: when the arm is pushed down and the nut is tightened, when the clutch is pulled the push rod moves before the rest of it even though everything is tight, is it ment to be like that?, i hope you can follow

so i've taken the mechanism apart and taken the push rod out, this is where im going to loose you lol

you have the push rod arm bit which is connected to the bit that looks like a fat threaded bolt, now thats where i have free play, is it ment to do that?

That's the worm gear- that can also be adjusted.
