ok well going on a picture i have they look like BT-020s which on the website says they ahve amazing wet grip, i disagree, anyone else got these?

Whatever you fit, take it steady for the first couple of hundred miles.
They'll take a while to scrub in with all this ice around!

Cheers for all the advice! Gonna get it sorted soon. My more experienced biking mate had a quick go on my bike and said they need changing. He reckons it will make the world of difference to the handling.

I wouldn't even be able to notice after a quick ride. Then again that's probably my subconscious, in the back of my mind I know tyrechange=£££

I like the avon storms. You won't go far wrong with any of the modern sport touring rubber though.
