I think generally speaking Sealey come into the "reasonable" category.

If you want a feel for different makes it's worth a few minutes checking out tests on Autoexpress , you'll find tests of spanners, sockets, torque wrenches etc. Just see what they think and make your own mind up.

Personally I usually suggest looking at getting just a few good quality tools, you don't need all that much to begin with. Then when needed or funds allow treat yourself to a few more.
The good quality will last literally a lifetime so never a need to replace them, and good tools are less likely to damage components.
I have tools which I still use regularly which were my grandfathers, he was born in 1899.

Well I say basic maintenance, but I'm also looking to restore my 1980 DT125.

If the tools wear out over time then I can replace them as and when I need to.

I'm looking at it partly for the storage.

A roller cab like that and a chest on top is going to be around £120 mark from the likes of Argos, or Machine mart etc, so that is pretty good value and better quality than the 'cheaper all in a box for £50' deals from same shops.

wow - i'd love to have a nice big tool set like that.

I keep threatening to buy one when halfords have the half price on the big halfords pro sets - but my wife keeps reminding me that i wouldn't know what to do with most of it, and the £15 socket set i got from B&Q is capable of alot more tasks than i am.

To be honest that cab looks pretty tat, biscuit tin quality. I have cabs from draper, halfords and snap on. TBH, the halfords industrial beats all, followed by snap on, the worst by a long mile being draper, and that pic looks similar.

For the £230 asking price, you could get a halfords pro cab and top chest (wait for the sales) and a decent collection of halfords pro tools (lifetime guarrentee)

Just remember the lifetime guarantee doesn't cover moving parts (i.e the rachet mech.) so best thing to do when the ratched mech goes is put it in a vice and snap the handle lol.
Saying that hafords rachets (pricey) are suprisingly some of the most durable.
