Also to add to all the above, Lube the throttle cable and the throttle tube. All these things will help.

Hi guys,

Got rained off today so done the TPS.

Mine was not changing to 4850 rpm. a tad higher than everybody else's.

With a little trouble I've got it to 1500 rpm.

Just going to stick on wet gear and give it a try.

Chain is spot on, throttle cables are good so It should be cool!

THIS IS NOT THE SAME BIKE.

It is silky smooth. Riding in the rain is lovely, not the poxy bike I was begining to hate.

what did you change?? the TPS mod or the throttle cable?

I removed the slack from the throttle cable and it made a MASSIVE difference. Might do the TPS mod today....

edit: sorry didnt see it was the TPS, in that case im deffo doing it
