They choose the breakdown operator though. At the moment, it's AXA.

I can't complain really.

I have been with the AA for years now.

I pay for Roadside / Relay, but get homestart on top for free - so thats my loyalty bonus.

I used them lots in one year for my car with an intermittent fault, and they were great - but the one time I used them for my old NSR they were rubbish.

NCI online will cover you the same for about £80, and for an optional £10 (optional plus) they will take you home after an accident.

Not yet let me down.

Cheers

+ 1

being doing this for years, always get a discount. They always rely on lazy customers just ignoring the renewal.

i have had bad dealings with the RAC.

and to be fair only had to use my AA twice in the 2 years i have had it

they both never use to recover you in an accident for the simply reason you claim it back of your insurance

and to be aware that the rac might say they will recover you, but do they say its free and part of the member ship. as the aa will recover you but MIGHT charge you if they see fit.

the aa guy i got out for my bike last was very clued up on the bikes, and even the guy that come for the car he was more kitted out for the bikes than the car, was funny as he couldnt tow the car on his trailer as it was for a bike. lol
