Ahhh, I can't wait for the day that Evie gets her big bike too!

Funny isn't it, how some parents are so against their kids riding, yet others actively encourage it?

Will you be going for ride outs with her??

how is evie gettin on? Bex still not got her licence back, but went into CBT place the other day. Should be able to book it soon. She is so excited.

One thing that surprised me though, she does her CBT on moped but is still allowed to ride a geared bike with no other training - madness. Then I thought about her doing CBT on her own bike but it only saves £5 - she might as well crash their bikes.

Oh yes, I'll be riding the old exup defensively around her until she develops the survival instincts that we all get eventually. I rode around with her last summer when she had her YBR, that was so much fun. Despite having to do 50mph on a sports bike with a riding position that would contravene most human rights laws, it's quite rewarding to pass on the little knowledge that I've acquired since I first got a bike in 1975. When I picked my bike up from the dealer I was told, " that's your front brake, that's your back brake, that's your throttle, that's your clutch and that's the gear shift. Good luck " and off I wobbled into the Saturday morning, town centre traffic. I suppose that not all the changes have been bad regarding the training. When she's got some confidence with the bike we'll be attending some of the org rides, at the moment you lot may be a little too quick for her. And me probably. Old bloke on an old bike remember. These days I have to say just tell me where you're going and I'll see you when I get there. Except on the odd days when that little devil's on my shoulder, forcing my throttle hand to twist that grip.....
