I think it's the headstock clunking around.. But the sv's front end is so cheap it flunks straight from the factory

ok, well, i tried what Haggis suggested today. propped the bike against a wall, and without squeezing the brakes i pumped the forks. and they were smooth. no knocks or bumps. so it seems like the SV is tougher than i though
