Fair point, will soon find out if it runs hotter or not.

I cant see it making much difference to the temperature as the radiator has a load of space behind and around it.

probably would not make any difference. it is to do with the venting of the hot air after it has passed through the radiator, it needs to escape rather than build up the heat in enclosed areas although this is more to do with slow running in traffic.

I have a fair bit of 4 inch stainless insect mesh left over from a job I did a few years back and decided to tidy up the gaping great holes in the sides of my lowers.
I know I will have to remove the lowers to do this but not sure what to use to stick it with though.
I did think about using Araldite or something like plastic padding but wanted some feedback.

Cheers guys.

The really strong double sided black 'tape' is like **** to a blanket, i think 3M make it.
Its more of a sticky gel than tape but it comes on a roll with white tape in between each layer.
Glue is ok but needs a rough surface to get a good bond, that tape works better with a smooth area.

It should do but it'll be more hassle. Glue guns aren't expensive really, but they ARE awesome. Until you cover yourself with glue and your skin drops off.
