Why would you want to spoil the curvacious looks of a curvey by puting pointy bits on it? Hides behind sofa waiting on abuse from pointy owners!!!

Who me? They were on it when I bought it.
![]() When I get the weeping/leaky clutch cover properly sorted I'll probably sell it and buy a bellypan... but at the moment it's doing a fine job hiding the silicon sealent. |

I'd be tempted to colour match the rest of the bike in that blue maybe two tone it with a lowlight colour. Be a bit different. anyway yellow bikes break down.

Panosm - I hate to sound like a forum troll, but you only get things cheaper in this world if you put in the leg work. I have been looking around for 2 years for various bits of kit and sometimes it just takes patience. If you search the 'web and the forums, you'll see that brand new lowers are well over £200 to buy. You can get second-hand ones on here but they will go faster than hot cakes. You will find them on ebay now and again, but usually inidivual sides, damaged and/or in a different colour. In this case, you will have to put in the effort and fix and paint them (like I am doing with these).
What I don't understand is; if you are so desperate to have lowers on it, that you will spoil the lines with another bike's lowers, why didn't you just buy a bike with lowers in the first place!? ![]() Appollo11 - I agree. Half-pointy, half-curvy would be very weird! Dave20046 (Damn, 20,045 other Daves beat you to it!) - Was that meant for mine? I would like to consider a new bike colour, but the cost/hassle of a full change will be a bit much. I hate the 'garishness' of yellow, yet I like the visibility aspect, so I'll probably stick with that. ![]() |
