No on your curvey they should be under the riders seat, near the battery iirc. Unless you had some work done and someone moved them of course. I know when i fitted my ZX6 shock to the bike i had to cut out the battery tray a bit and move stuff about.

What is the tilt switch???
When you put it on trickle charge, did you take the battery out of the bike?

If so, or if you diconnected the leads to the battery, it COULD be that you haven't screwed the terminals down enough.

You switch on the bike, the lights come on, you then hit the starter - do the lights go off and is there a click from the area of the battery.

If so then its a possible loose connection.

Firstly I put it in dealer mode and it said -C00 which is a good sign

Its a pointy SK6

the battery is well and truely screwed to the terminals

When trying to start it the only thing that happens is the light dims a bit?

still none the wiser

Fuses all seem fine too.

When it fell over I had to change the gear selector pedel and the gear lever but they both seemed to go on fine!

Any other ideas anyone?

fuel pump goes through the paces with the ignition is turned on.

I think it must be something to do with the clutch switch but I don't know how to check it. Is there any way that you can bypass the clutch switch?
