I bought something and it was sent via recorded delivery first class. Thought it was lost forever but after 2 weeks it just arrived, no explination or nothing.

Royal Mail can sometimes be a bit poo

Yeh true, just fingers crossed it turns up.

Yes, there will always be cases like this

I've sent stuff to New Zealand, Japan & the US in the past, and it's got there really quickly. Quicker than UK mainland stuff !

I have also fallen foul of this damn Ebay, Royal mail caffoofle. Im Indoors ordered some boots off a power seller on the 21st of May from someone in North Yorks.. He got an email on 22nd saying they'd been dispatched, but to take in the account of the bank holiday. Now I get all my ebay purchases within a couple of days...we're still waiting for these damn boots. We have a wedding to attend tomorrow, so have the boots!

Whats the betting after he comes home from work in the morning, he gets disturbed by the postie. Either that or I have to take an emergency trip to his mothers and have to pick up a gastly pair of many many lace holed Doc Martens.

I've fallen foul in both directions! Sent something to an orger that he didnt receive - luckily I kept the proof of postage. Ordered stuff off Egay thats talen 2 1/2 weeks to turn up. Conversley, I've had stuff from ebay turn up the following day - just no consistency in the sellers or our wonderful postal service.

Count yourself lucky you paid via Paypal. I bought some parts from Jester666 on here about 3 months ago, sent a cheque, had it cashed and have never received a thing. Not had any responses from any messages either
Now I'm £80 down and needing a new rear tyre
