I generally have the rule that if the insurance of my next bike is more than 800 tpft, then i wont have it

so no to alot of bikes...

to be honest i know the 750 is a better bike because all the reviews say so but i cant fault the 600? it does everything i need it to do with blistering speed! i also enjoy the cheap tax and insurance the 750 was £300 more insurance for me which isnt alot but at age 37 it is an insult.

Similar rule to me.

I refuse to pay more than £500 fully comp on anything.

I really cant see the point in shelling out so much just to own something.

see i dont mind paying alot if I know i'll use it, but anything more than 800 is silly really. SV's suit me to the gorund cos they are cheap and fun and reliable

but those gsxr750's.....even the old ones are cooool

Nice its a quality bit of kit and the build quality is the difference between the SV.

Your paying more for a reason and the old phrase stands you get what you pay for!

i looked at the 600's, then found this one and paid £5500 for it which i thought was a good price. Insurance wise the 750 was £60 more. I would not have minded a 600 but reading the reviews I thought i would get bored after a year and always want a 750. And with the 750 i will keep it for many years, and for the price i paid it is less than most garages have listed for 600's of the same age.

security wise it has a cat 1 alarm, stays in a locked garage and has a big chain to protect it, when i take it to work we have a private parking garage and will chain it to something just in case.
