H - it's on Biketrader, second page of SVs, I think it's the third one down. You're not after a bargain H, you're looking to screw someone.

Me

Today was the day when I was to hand over my 675. I was taking all the bits off it yesterday. I was taking the fairings off so as to remove the T3 sliders (they mount on the engine bolts, they give you longer bolts with the kit to accommodate the thickness of the mounting) when I realised that even though I could do with the cash I simply couldn't part with it. I like it too much and I would miss it like crazy. It's a release valve from all the stress and pressure at work, and it's my P&J. I don't usually become emotionally attached to things, but stripping the bike - oh I was ready to cry. I know that at the end of the day it's just a motorbike, a big lump of metal, rubber and plastic, and it will depreciate even more as time goes by and the mileage goes up. But like Obama's America, this bike is more than the sum of its parts.

I was going to Southport to look at a SV to replace it, and YC had very very kindly agreed to come over to have a look at it with me. Thanks Chris!!! The seller is now texting me and desperate to sell - he has told me he'll take 1250 for it but as I'm not selling I'm not in the market. I feel bad about winding him up. It's a W reg bike, 15K on it, good nick, if anyone would like the seller's number then I'll happily PM it to you.

So I've cancelled the sale, reinstated the insurance, and this beautiful shiny beast is still in my garage. Complete with TLW's end cap
I'm in a similar situation, I started a new job last week and then promptly lasted 4 days before I quit.

That now means I have had to go back to my old job with a 12.5% paycut so money is tight.

Seriously considering selling the cbr and buying a curvy SV, I have started selling all the non essentials like track fairings and crash bungs that I got to go with the fairings that I now wont have the money to use.

So far though I have priced my bike hig where really I know people wont be interested even though it is probably worth the price

Decisions decisions

Ed I fully concur. Its weird but its the only bike since my SV to instill a sense of passion just from looking at it. Im glad your still in the D675 club.

That'll be mine then

Ed I really am glad you decided to keep it. Shame you couldn't decide before the GM...but ahh well, plenty of other places to ride it.

Glad you still have the bike.
(although somewhat disapointed you didn't "move up" to an SV)

Flip flopping on such a major decision?
(usually a sign of too much stress)
Have you considered taking a few days off from work and maybe just riding/relaxing???
