Not as big as the genuine part but plenty big enough for what I want for a fraction of the cost. It does not look out of place either (Well I don't mind it) for when I need to use it.

What I really like is that when I don't need it I can return the bike back to how it was with the turn of a key.

Now to sort out the exhaust and get a tail-tidy.

Very nice job, nice to see that you managed to come up with a solution you are happy with.

Just to say i purchased one of the suzuki top boxes (just fitted it today) and it seems to be very sturdy. The carbon fibre top (the bottom is just black plastic) may not appeal to all but does not look out of place on my sv. Just so you all know if you are thinking on buying one is that it actually screws down so its not a simple pop on pop off job that i was expecting but im not all that bothered. One problem ive also noticed is the back screws can be a bit out of line but that was nothing to drill them to get them to line up.

In all a good sturdy piece of kit. (and the service at Saltire is as excellent as usual )
