You hit a Hare...they are suprisingly huge, especially when they stand up. Hitting a Hare is like hitting a fox...they are easily the same weight and I'd imaging adult males could be even heavier.

Poor Hare....poor bike. Never trust an animal of any description to stay put though.....you're lucky it was a Hare.....if it had been a sheep, you'd be up said creek!

I was in a pet shop the other day and they were selling a "giant house rabbit" for a ridiculous amount of money!
