How long will the battery last? - Page 2 - SV650.org

In my case about 2 months, but to be fair i only just bought the bike and don't know to much about it.

It's now running, well will be once i get her running a Yuasa YTZ 14S..My original intentions of keeping the bike a year or so won't be of any assistance to this thread... Although, there is no guarantee that the battery will go with the bike once it's sold

I'vve never found much difference in quality with the different-priced batteries. I wouldn't waste your money on a new battery until the old one's dead though, regardless of what you buy, it won't run any better with it

My Curvy also lasted 8 years, I think leaving it over winter without charging it at all last year killed it and I had to get a new one this year, I bought a genuine Suzuki battery because the first one lasted so long and it wasn't much more than the cheap nasty ones (and especially seeing as I've owned the SV from new and have no intention of selling ever).
