Come on guys... if he wants to do it, well thats his choice.

Tommyboy it has been done, IIRC it is a bit of a fiddle, but arent all these things. Might I suggest that you try the search function as I am sure theres a few threads knocking about that explain what you need to do.

No, if you're not happy with the bike deepdown I think modding the **** out of it and being slightly happier/less unhappy with it is a bad idea.

I must confess to putting a 180 tyre on the back of my SV by mistake once (long story, we were in a real hurry and it was semi dark!) and spent the next few miles wondering why it felt so strange. That was on the standard rim so it played havoc with the profile, but if it's just looks you're after...
