You need to wire it up to OEM connector if you want it to plug in like that. They are standard part from farnell components.

The GSXR 600 K4 front goes straight onto the pointy. I changed the top yoke to take the Renthal bars but there are various other options using Suzuki bits. As YC says the speedo was straight forward, loads of threads on here with all the details.

the trail tech vapor speedo sensor works with the stock sv dash (pointy) not sure about the curvey, same as the stock sv speedo works with the vapor

so all in all if i get a K4 gixxer 6 front end and get some magnets and a sensor, the rest should just all bolt straight on.
