Can imagine it must be well annoying to drop a bike when paddock stand removing..hope you get it sorted soon! I scuffed up my old bike cos I didn't leave in gear1 on a slight decline, and when I came back, it had toppled, gutted. No I leave it in gear1, regardless.
I've just invested in a motrax chrome rear paddock stand and also purchased some bobbins to fit the rear of my bike. Could perhaps any of the more experienced lot offer suggestions as how one can avoid dropping your bike when applying or removing the paddock stand? Ive seen videos on youtube of people using bricks under their side stand and then doing it..others just stand on the side and push the bike with their left hand whilst hooking the paddock with the right? There's stuff like the abba stand, but didn't wanna fork out that much. Tbh, if I did any of these, I could see a drop ensuing after x amount of times. Oh and lets assume you got no helpers... |
