I think I knew what to expect in your second sentence as soon as I saw the word 'Corsa'. Vauxhalls are all pretty crap but this particular model appears to attract every sort of bad driver (Max power baseball cap 'yoof', old giffer, girl more interested in make-up than driving and so on). Other cars may attract one type the the Corsa seems to get them all. Avoid them like the plague, they're more dangerous than Diesel spills!

It's amazing how brave some folk are when wrapped in their tin boxes, I've had a number of run-ins when I've been on my push bike, the main trouble (for them) is that they appear to assume riding a bike you must be a child or a wimp and you'll never catch them anyway but when they have to stop at lights and I'm still catching them through the traffic at 30 they get a shock, more so when they realise I'm probably larger then they first thought and as each tap on their window gets heavier they then realise how delicate windows are - and mirrors for that matter. It's great not having a number plate!

File a complaint against them with the police (dangerous driving, threatening behaviour). They will send hopefully follow up asking them about the incident, and if there is CCTV footage, it should be good enough that they might prosecute.

I'd be carefull what you say there

I can muster a can around a racetrack rather swiftly, my my 2.0 Corsa was epic, and my missis 2.0 Turbo is even moreso...

As for Vauxhalls....

cough

VX220
VXR Astra/Corsa
Any Vauxhall with a redtop
Monaro (OK so its a Holden, but meh!)
VXR8, even better with Supercharger

Rather a Vauxh than a ford

i find vehicles with 4 wheels and a shell seem to attract bad drivers tbh
all cage drivers back down when you set the bike on the stand wall over lean into the window and ask them nicely to repeat what they just told you

Truth be told they know they were at fault later .....

I love seeing stressed drivers like that ..... and then being able to disappear in to the distant all calm whilst they sit in traffic seething !! lol.

I'm calm 99% of the time .... but on occasion someones door mirror will bear the brunt .- not enough to break it -only to put their heart in thir mouth ... like the time some kid in a Rover decided he'd make (on purpose) it impossible for me to filter down the centre of a very slow moving dual carriageway ......didn't feel great afterwards..... but he pushed me too far that time
+1 except i'm calm abot 70% of the time, I would have stuck my finger up, cut them up and slowed right down, changed lane, gave them the w*nker sign and shot off, childish and dangerous I know

A friend of ours has one, she was doing a simple three-point turn to leave another friend's house. We stood in the door trying not to laugh as she practically redlined it just to maneuver on the clutch for the 80-point turn, rolling dangerously close to the another friend's car (also a Corsa!)

Hovis had a Corsa, don't forget. And besides, no matter how bad Corsas might be, they'll never be more dangerous than a Ford Ka.

Grr, why is this incident really bothering me? I'm still really angry that they utterly believed they were in the right.

I think I need to invest in a punch bag or something!

It would irritate me too Dan. Some people are so self-obsessed that they simply can't see that they are wrong.

My advice is go have a large brandy and you'll be asleep in no time
