Mmmm Brands...I might be tempted. It's always the price that makes me think twice. I take it they're not extending any of the run-off areas, I heard from a few people they were quite small. Still it would be nice to get rid of that crack/join, it annoys me also, although not too much (thought I got a wiggle from going over it once though).

nahh the run off area really is fine. You should have seen it 20 years ago. Paddock run off was non existant, back in the days of wooden poles and wire Brands has changed SO much, at the loss of public viewing space though You used to have thousands of people at Paddock hill. The worst place its at clearways (funnily engouh where my dads team mate snapped his thigh in half after crash). Many track dayers loose it coming out of clearways (LOADS of run off), into paddock, and into Druids, or the first left hander Graham hill (but thats becuase people try too hard and get caught out by a cold tyre on the left hand side).

I like it. I was seeign about 140 at the end of the start/finish straight. I'd outbrake a few going into paddock but scrub off too much corner speed, and thats my next goal, maintain the speed going round the bend.

Had a mate keep going round the outside of me at clearways on a VFR400, then i'd pelt past him on the straight again, he'd get well cheesed off

I should scan in some old programes i have from the 80's, show how much its come on.

Khrall, not booked any yet, but DEFFO going back. Its so close its rude not too

Paddock is the first bend yeah? I thought that was the one with the small run off (from what I had heard). I think the comparison might have been with some european tracks where the run off is such that you don't generally hit anything (you might have seen before one of our group went off at Paddock and flew straight through the gravel trap!).

I'm tempted by Brands but I think I need to get to another track first before I become a one-track pony (been twice now!)

3 for me!

Daimo - the CBR is a 365 days a year commuter! Although if I move to Maidstone way I may have to get something more sedate or have the cbr restricted.

Yeah paddock hill bend is at the end of the straight, where Venom/Law came off and hit (flipped over) the tyre wall. Where is he now?

Law went OVER the barrier???? Bloody hell even the WSB boys don't do that, what on earth was he doing????

Khrall, get a reliable comfy commuter, and save some pennies for a nice weekend toy?

Im on 1 track day, and 1 evening session, both at Brands.

But that makes life so much easier to get to as im only 15 minutes away Plus my dad can come and play on track with me, and my mother/friends can come and bring supplies, snacks, and hot drinks

We had our own little cafe last time Tea, coffee, cakes, biscuits, crisps, chocolate, cans, it was excellent
