I'd still rather not get ripped off for some crap hole when there's no need, and I've been to some truly awful places in my time

Antoinette is a bit more than a 5 minute walk from Kingston Hill!

There is a Travelodge (i think- it's one of those generic chain hotels) on the edge of the town centre (right next to Wilkinson- nice!). That'll be about a 15 minute walk from Kingston Hill.

There are probably a few b&b's along Kingston Hill- have you tried googling it?

Yeah ... you are right, not sure why I said that .. ..... probably a bit too far to walk in reality ... down Villiers, over past the Hospital .... 20-25 mins ??

Yeah- probly.

The only Cardinal pub I can find, by the way, is closer to Ham than Kingston Hill- a walk even further...

Any joy with bed and board Johnny?

A short taxi ride is fine so no probs (the laydees probably wouldn't walk more than 5 mins anyway), I think we'll book the Antoinette. No idea yet where the Cardinal is, you know as much as I do now to be honest!
