Which bit are you going to Tim? You should be able to pick up winter sports/thermal gear very cheaply at this time of year. And the Gap is usually about 2/3 of the price that it is in the UK.
oh yeah, McDonalds is so cheap, they pay you to eat it. Last edited by CoolGirl; 28-02-10 at 07:57 PM. |

Walmart is brilliant.
Everytime i go, i buy a watch to wear for work for around $13, they last ages. Had one of them for 4 years and in my job they get covered in plaster, adhesive, silicone, everything, so resilient. |

The few times I've been to the states I've arrived with just hand luggage. Go shopping, get a nice cheap case and fill it with clothes for little money.
As said earlier, gadgetry isn't really much cheaper than UK. I used to buy chemicals for my water bed as well, they were $4 a bottle compared with about £20 over here. Also vitamins and drugs (legal) are cheap. I pick up some wicked migrane tablets for a few $ for a 250 pack. |
