I'll admit i've been for the past three years and found it to be great - Both the premier instructors were great - Andy and Ian, Though I think we were spoilt getting Guy Martin as an instructor too.
As for cost considering its three figures for Knockhill on your own bike and stuff. it does include all gear and bike and no excess if you drop it. I cannot fault it but I do talk to the instructors and aim to get the best out of it. The Elite is definately for those racing already as many of the Irish lad use it as familrisation as well as some of the WSB/BSB racers

Phil24-7 - the big thing with the day is 360 feedback if thats how you felt you should have spoken to someone esp your instructor otherwise they do not know how you are feeling.

I would just say go for it I'm not sure how it will be at Silverstone but Donington is always a great laugh.
Mr UKI - chances are if we can make it ( seeing as they have shoved it even further from the border) we will be going 15th July!

I done the premier last year and the elite this year. Both highly recommended for any level of rider, the instructors are ace. The bikes are spot on (being sponsored by Honda) All the kit is good stuff aswell. We had to drive for 10 hours to get there this year to Silverstone and 8 last year but we all came away thinking it was a great day out. I came off this year when on the blades, bit of a spectacular one aswell. My advice is do it

Well after gooing to Haslam at Donington for the last three years, Quedos and myself managed to tie in another session with our trip to the **** of the North races at Scarborough this July.

We arrived in very variable weather conditions with both wind and rain coming and going throughout the day. Had a complete blast as usual although after beginning to push just that little bit too much near the end of our third and final session, I highsided and tumbled up the tarmac several times..... cost ZERO.

I am currently in plaster due to a heavily abused achilles tendon in the left leg, but all in all I'm great. Had I been at a track day I'd have learned less, been in a less controlled environment, damaged Lid, Gloves, Boots and leathers - oh yes, and the bike would have been very bent! As it stands, my kit and bike is all great and I have some wee jobs that I'd like to attempt on it whilst I can't ride. I also have the heavily scraped visor from the brand new Arai that I took down the track with Rocket Rons autograph on it as a little momento.

I'll be going back again. Hopefully at the much more centrally located Donington park.

All the best,

Garry
