In the eighties there'd have been riots in the streets - nearest we get to a protest now, is a little bit of organised slow driving on the motorway - whoop-de-f*%!@ing-whoop.

Little bit here, little bit there, it all mounts up, and it's pay-rise time of the year, and those of us lucky enough to be in jobs, will no doubt be told, that the economy is tough and we can't afford to shell-out any more - there's plenty of unemployed about that'd have your job if you're not happy.

RIOTS I tell you, RIOTS!

We've been told further paycuts could be on the cards after a 12.5% paycut last year... Everything going up, wages going down, lovely.

I need a new job to be offered quicker.

What do you pay now?

The £33 and £15 brackets have stayed the same.

£48 (sub 600) has gone up to £50

£56 (600+) has gone upto £70

not sure of the exact size brackets but the other two have stayed the same.

Typo? it was £66

I note that if your tax renewal date is 1st April, and you bought it a day early, you got it for £66
