I'd rather cut my foreskin off with a plastic picnic knife than go to phonesforu again.
I bought my first phone from them years ago. Got phone home, and lo, couldnt get a signal. Well, I could, but only at the end of the driveway, bent over, facing west. I rang to complain and was told "well, it is a mobile phone, not a home phone!". Anyway, took it back, demanded and got a refund. However, these priceless ****s then sent be a bill for the 2 days I'd had the phone, including calls to their customer complaints dept. When I took the phone back, they even checked up (despite any contract cooling off periods allowed in law) my post code, before comfirming I was in an area with only marginal coverage. I tried for weeks and weeks to get through to their billing team, on hold for ages every time. Eventually, despite never answering my calls, they were threatening legal action for an outstanidng £2.78. I finally had to march into a shop and make an **** of myself before the shop managed to get through to billing, and organised a refund. In all, it took 9 months to get my phone cost and deposit back from them. And then to cap it all, a few years ago, I did a credit check on me, and they'd issued court proceedings a couple of years after Id returned the phone , got a judgement, despite no summons ever being served, for that £2.78 that the shop had got waived. When I went into the shop (this was about 5 years after), no one was interested, said it was an issue with phonesforus airtime supplier not them, and just fobbed me off. I hope a plague of syphalis decends on them, and their chavvy shiny suited begelled teenagers working there, honestly, the very worst customer service on the planet, once they got your money. Also the store implicated in passing peoples confidential details on to insurers, who ring up a couple of days after you got the phones, to sell you protection, pretending to be linked by not - looks like staff were selling customers details on to insurers illegially. |
