no the CBR or most bikes (not an SV BTW
![]() I think one of the bike mags done a thing a few years back where a bike could only just about beat a lotus elleise (sp) round a track due to this exact reason. |

Fifth gear have done a similar test drag racing a 990 honda moto gp bike, a v10 f1 honda and the gp bike was the slowest as it couldn't use the full power as soon as the f1 car, and they had the bike on full temperature qally tires to give it a chance

Just watched that video at home... that car is insanely quick, it topped the leader board except for the enzo, beating GT3RS, carerra GT etc
The cbr rider looked a bit poo though, but I guess you have to bear in mind its a car programme, jezza will have driven the track 100+ time and the bike probably did a couple of laps to get used to it.

I would like them to do a real world challenge, a 600 or thou bike versus any car they like for a race to gibralta or something daft.
the fuel stops would be the only thing playing a part in that due to bike needing to re fuel every 100 or so miles at full chat. the bike would have to use its advantage and filter like a deamon in traffic to allow enouhg time to fill up with out being caught back up . |
