I know someone with one. He says he hasn't used full throttle in 1sr or 2nd as it wheelspins on a dry straight road with warm tyres, and he hasn't been able to rev it in any other gear aside from autobahn trips. Bit of a waste really.

I'd much rather get a £3k ZX12R. Prettier too.

Prettier???? I think that's personal preference, I think they are beautiful, and cheaper to insure than my B1H.

yeah 12r, look like a better bike money wise, and i imagine the zzr1400 would be a bit hard to use on the road, but god know i would try if i was let loose on one.

good looking bike imo, i would imagine they would be very capable for what you are looking for, touring and less revs.

Guy was just in local bike place getting a new tyre on one.

4200 miles on a storm ST. Ouch!

Doesn't sound too bad - I only got 4200 miles from an 020 on my sprint

my brother tried the sprint and did like it, especially how comfy it was, but said he just didnt think it felt powerful enough.
