on the S4 I identified the relevant wires in the built in alam plug which ade matters easy, On other bikes, yeah the earth and ignition wires are both soldered and heat shrinked into the right wires on the loom, you'll need a decent wiring diagram for the bike.

i haven't got mine connected yet.
ive got a new fuel tank on the way for the Fazer so I am just going to fit it when that arrives and i have the other tank off. sceptical about cutting and soldering the ignition wire though i must say... i got it more just for piece of mind also, will probably switch off the talking bit and just leave it with sirens. hopefully will get some pictures and such when i do go to connect it |

nah i just got the standard alarm with the siren and speaker. its got the vibration sensor though so if it gets knocked then it will warn whoever touched it that there is an alarm armed, and if it is touched again within 5 seconds i think it is then the alarm ill go off!!
seems good, but as i say i haven't got it connected and am sceptical about the cutting and soldering of the wires. |

if you must have an alarm then get an alarmed disclock, then if it goes wrong you just unlock it and toss it, |
