I saw a horrible accident in France. Wannabe Tour de France cyclists go damn fast down the hills. One poor sod lost it on a hairpin at the bottom of a hill, miserable that there was a car coming.

He went through the windscreen.

The M1 is loaded with people on phones, seems every other car is at it. Really needs to be 'upped' to driving without due care and attention IMO, and endorsable. These days there is no excuse with so much technology about.
What really gets me is matey boy in his brand new BMW or Merc or Range Rover, can afford the car but not a hands free kit!

I saw one guy on a bike pull his mobile out of his pocket, answer it then shove it between his face and his open faced helmet and carry on talking.

LOL stupid and what was the point? He probably couldn't hear anything and certainly all the other person heard was "BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRM HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" (engine and wind for the less-imaginative)

I was driving to my girlfriend's house on the A419 yesterday, she drives a Ford KA.. There was heavy traffic, so I presumed there was an accident. As you do, when I drove by, I saw a Ford KA, with the rear-right corner of a lorry in the passenger seat's place.. I got such a terrible flush of horror... She took the same road earlier.
Luckily it was nothing to do with me, and whom I assumed was the driver just looked like she was in major shock, but I know nothing more. I don't think there was a passenger.

The girl was the same age as my girlfriend as well... People never think it will happen to them, until it does and is too late.
