Yea, checked it out yesterday Stu and it does flop about quite a bit. Oh well, I think my best options so far are on the side of the fairing or in the fake air vent under the headlights. I think I would prefer the latter as its a bit less obvious theres a camera there, but still not sure how to mount it in there.

Side of the rad gives a steady and great view of the suspension working as well as a good forward view.

A bit of metal, 3 holes and rounded off the edges. The camera come with the P-clips that have suckers on the end. I took the suckers off and got 2 random nuts and bolts and put it through the P-clips into the two end holes on the metal. The middle one is for the rad bolt to clamp it against the rad. Simples.

Sounds good. Shame I cant use it as I have full fairings in the way. All a bit academic now too as the camera has packed up sending a signal to the recorder after just one long test run. Way to get stung on eBay. ![]() |

Send the seller a message stating the problem, however if they dont do anything assuming that you paid via paypal and you pay your paypal via your credit card your covered.

Yea, I know the drill on eBay. I paid cash though after winning a buy it now auction.
To be fair, the seller has already said I can go back to his house, which is only a few miles away, and check out all the connections with me. I'm pretty certain they are all fine though and its the actual bullet cam that has packed up. We'll see how I get on once I get to his house, hopefully tonight. |

Going collecting another cam, mic and cables from the seller tonight. Hes been really good so far to be fair.
Also, tomorrow Im getting a bracket made to hold cam in the fake vent under the headlight. Hopefully it should all be tip-top ready for track day on Sunday. |

Job done - at last! Got new camera and mic from the seller and he's getting the old cam repaired then giving it back to me to use as a spare. Hes getting a wireless kit so has no use for the wired cameras anymore. Result for me.
Got the new cam all fitted last night and mounted it in the fake air vent under the headlights. Very pleased with the job that was done. Got an old pal of mine who has a 3 cam system on his bike to show me how its done and Im well impressed with his work. Looking forward to recording my ride home tonight now as a test ready for the track day on Sunday (weather permitting - stupid rain!) |
