You can still get the problem even with the drain hole cleared. More to it than that. Seems some seal around the top of the plug better, others don't and need a fender extender.

Personally for safety I would always use some grease around the top and/or a fender extender. For price they are it is daft not to considering how fookin dangerous a fault it is.

Think its a twin thing myself. Raptor does the same. Unfortunately they don't do a fender extender for them, so I will be making a mod like the one on my black SV, which entails having a flap down the front of it, preventing anything getting in at all.

Think it's the cylinder angle and plug position. The ape has plugs on the sides of the cylinders and doesn't experience it, at least I haven't had the problem nor have I heard about it.

As for silicone grease I'd go for. My curvy refused to start on two after being left outside in pi$ing rain for 2 days.

ohh dear you got it all wrong

for a start its not a pointy, secondly its not a naked and thirdly you got the slowest colour
