I've always fancied one too, but when I test-rode a few they didn't quite live up to expectations... plus they'll always be breaking down and you'll be selling body parts to buy the spares.

ahh, ok, but how about iridescent lizard skin? silvery fish scales? .. or council surplus green.

When barwel first mentioned JPS Norton classic black with gold detailing I did think it might be fitting, but like you say, there's a lot of black bikes out there.
