my dad had some goldfren's in his minitwin and said they were ****e, stuck some EBC pads in it and said hey were a mile better. i had goldfren's in my old r125, same again. they were about as good as stopping me as dragging my feet on the floor. put some ferodo ones in. brilliant. personally i'd advise against using goldfrens but it depends how much you think you need good brakes

I've been using Goldfren pads on my bikes for the last 6 years and have no complaints about them at all. Last well, stop me efficiently in the wet or dry and are a very good price.

Brake pads won't make much difference to how the lever feels.

I have read there were a bunch of counterfeit Goldfren pads being sold - seems odd people would put one of the cheaper brands on knock off stuff, but might explain the widely varying opinions of these pads.

If you goto intobikes.co.uk you can get Brembo pads for £33.99 or Ferodo for £24.99 complete front sets and much better than the cheap Goldfren.

I'm not sure if I'm reading the site wrong but isn't that £33.99 just for one caliper? So it would be £67.98 for the fronts?
