Very Sad Ed, {{{hugs}}}.

Any unexpected reminder of a lost friend is bound to be upsetting. It's also bound to be hard seeing his bike go on to someone else.

Big hugs x

Must be a bit of a gut wrencher to see Ed mate, chin up.

In answer to your question, no chance! knowing the last person to get off the bike got off it unvolenterily and passed away afterwards would freak the hell out of me. I'd never feel like it was my bike, the last owner was getting rid of it they were taken from it. I'd forever feel like it was someone elses.

I suppose anyone that buys a damaged-repairable bike (or one which has been repaired already) has to do it in the knowledge that when it got damaged so too did the rider. I can see how it would be a bit distressing to see if you'd known the rider, but I suppose these companies make their living out of bikes like these.
Gorgeous bike, sorry about your friend.

unnerving because it was your mates bike and he's gone-but thats the business of salvage i suppose-i wouldn't ride a bike knowingly that a fellow biker had died on.
don't ponder on it ed and think of your good memories of your mate.

Im very sad to hear about this. Got to be a hard find! I cant believe it was in a fatal accident with it being so scuff free. Sad times!
