Consensus seems to be they are a bit flimsy, not the most perfect paint jobs in the world and need some work to fit but are a fraction of the cost of real panels and look OK (certainly better than a trashed set of plastics).

I guess for a track bike or a set of panels to put on your bike while you are on a track they would be okay but they certainly wouldn't be an asthetic choice.

If you are worried about dropping your Ducati and damaging their over-priced panels then I would say get them, however these Chinese ones are not made of the toughest materials and as mentioned earlier some work is required to get them to fit properly.

Personally I'd say worth getting a set, sticking the originals in storage and then refitting them when it comes to sell the bike, especially if they do 888 bodywork[1]...

yeh in the likely event that i end up with a ducati at some point i think i definatly will be investing in some as i think they do look awesome
