Dang, I was afraid of that, but could not find the info. It's an option, but what fender will fit then, SRAD or K0-3?

Otherwise you'll need two 3.5mm spacers for the wheel and for the disks/calipers.
Hmm, as long as I know it works in the end I'm willing to try.

Where are you? If you're midlands I've got a 'Spare' SRAD wheel you could try for fit.

Very kind of you, but live across that little stretch of water where you lot and us cheese heads had our occasional exchange of round metallic objects.

Probably SRAD, although K0-3 may fit if you're prepared to stretch it a bit.

According to Northwind they do, so my updated plan would be:

- Buy the TWF bearing
- SRAD top and bottom yokes
- GSXR K0-3 forks (Hayabusa or K4-5 springs if needed)
- SRAD/TL/Hayabusa wheel and axle
- Any Suzuki 320mm disc (TL has 134mm rotors centres, K0-3 132mm?)
- GSXR K0-3 calipers
- M8 washers on the calipers
- GSXR K0-3 fender
- TL1000S clip-ons
- 120/70 front tire to compensate for the shorter forks
- Speedo to the rear (final decision still pending)
- take a mm or so off the ignition bolt
- steel braided brake hoses
- Possibly paint the fender
- Check if the standard GSXR springs (0.78 ) are stiff enough (racetech advise for my and bikes weight 0.85).

Are there any differences in the way the mudguards are bolted onto the forks through the different years. In other words, ignoring yoke width for a moment, are they interchangeable, for instance bolting a K0-3 mudguard onto SRAD forks?

They changed mountings around a couple of times, some have 3 mountings... SRAD shape has 2 mounts and is same shape for years... way back into oil boiler years (80s) that are same fitment just slightly different shapes. Eg GSXR400GK76 one will fit SRADs, TLs etc.

Best bet is to look on eBay... see the different mountings stuck out of fork legs and compare.

I've got a spindle thats been modified to allow SRAD wheels to be used in std K1-K3 forks. I can measure the difference if you like, its not much. I've also got a front wheel and some other bits from the 600 too.

How exactly is it modified, why is it needed? Well I would need a SRAD wheel and disc, preferably no paint.

Its machined so it lines up an SRAD wheel in K1-K3 forks and yokes. Working backwards from that should tell you where you need to be.

Was it a SRAD axle you used for the modification? Sorry to be a bit thick.
