same internals as a gsxr (but right way up) fully ajustable ,well made, 10 times better than 650 forks, and best bit is its just a bolt on job, old forks and yokes off new forks and yokes on
only point of note is the thou doesnt run a speedo off the front wheel like the 650 but yc can know you one up easy enough

GSXR RWU from a K1 - K3 600 then you get 4 pot calipers and 320mm discs too and still looks fairly standard

true, the SV brakes are a bit average. I've been use SBS Dual Carbon pads on the track though, they're almost dead when cold but when hot they're the bomb.

Why do you want the front to look stock? I'd rather have kickass forks and brakes

Want to keep her looking standard as if I keep changing stuff the only thing that will make it an sv will be frame and engine.

a big fat +1

all that means is you have kept the good bits

if you did get a thou front end then i could fit it in a day at my house FOC but its getting you, bike+ forks over hear any other front end might need bits fabbing up so would take longer

Got to agree SV's are the most well know for changes, but the kawa middleweights seem to have an magnetic attraction to ZX636 front ends.

an example of what the ER6 can have an accident with (yes i know its TT lightweight racer)

If your wanting a std look your best bet is cartridge fork off a SV Thou or Voodoo forks

I'd say you're making hard work of it to be honest. Even just adding the Racetech emus and some springs gets you 90% of the way to where you want to go, and it's dead easy. Up to you, you've got the griff now.

I think you are right I always go over the top for what I really need. If I needed 10 then I would get 12 just to be sure. I think springs and emulators, if I become Rossi over night on track days then I can always upgrade again later.
