Thanks. I think that looks like what I want.
My tank bag does have have the clear pocket but the way the power lead hooks up to the sat nav doesn't let it sit very well in there. |

I used to ride all over the country for work on my SV, using a Tomtom I must have done almost 40K with various forms of mountings. Everything else I tried: looked tacky, vibed too much, broke or held it in a bad position (often all 4). RAM make the best modular mounting system in the world (there's a reason pilots swear by them) and the Telefrizer is the most elegant, vibe free, secure and factory-looking way of mounting a RAM arm on an SV that you can buy.
Try the shorter arm first, it's marginally better from a vibration/aesthetics POV. If it's too small for use with your tank bag, you can cheaply and easily get a second larger arms for use when you have a tank bag on. The way they're mounted means you can switch them out in seconds as necessary. |
