on my iphone while driving (car) I use copilot and its pretty good. It even has a "Safety Mode" where unless you are coming up to the junction or are stationary it doesn't show the map and just shows how long to the next turn and which way you are going which I find less distracting than having the map on all the time

On a semi related note how are you attaching your phone? Tankbag with a seethrough window or is there something better?

Dunno about everyone else but I'm just running a lead from my battery and keeping the phone in my pocket, just wearing headphones. Don't need the screen as a distraction or the added cost of a mount.
