Hope you like prison food then.

Why do you think that you are above the law? Speed limit signs do not specify that its for certain types of road usage, they specify the limit for the stretch of road.

A bike is classed as a "Carriage" in law, hence your license is at risk.

I doubt that skates/soapbox racers would be classed as such.

So, what happens if one gets clocked at 50mph in a 30mph-zone and have no form of driving license?

Ask bluepete for clarity but as far as I am aware, you can't get any points on your licence for offences committed on a pushbike....you can be charged with furious and reckless cycling, careless cycling or drunken cycling.........

That being said, you can get booked with being drunk in charge of a horse as well...

They get to wait for until you get a license aparently, just like if you committed a driving offence at 16.

Unless the rozzas were right there how could they catch you anyway, I mean, I always take my number plate off my skates when going for high speed runs just in case

Absolutely no way of detection unless watching them do it.

Or, as in the case of the OP, you go public about it.

Besides skates should be safe, they are not classed as Carriages in law.
